Do not EVER give me hope
if all you intend to do
is to walk away.
I do not need help
feeling the hopelessness of life and living...
I work each day to focus on hope.
On life.
On love.
I choose, each day, to live my life in such a way as to bring that hope,
friendship,
love,
strength,
belief in good things
to others...
and to myself.
I know, more than anyone else,
how incredibly broken I am.
You are.
I know,
more than you can ever imagine,
how hard I work to love,
to believe,
to hope,
in spite of it all...
I do not need for you to
be my glue.
That is nobody's job but my own.
